Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church

The young adults of Holy Transfiguration under the guidance of Fr. Philip McCaffery, have been working towards pan orthodox youth fellowship.

 

In 2014-15 we hosted two very successful Young Adult Retreats. The retreats included fellowship time, lectures (by Mike Tishel, CrossRoad Director and Fr. Philip McCaffery, our parish priest), group discussions, singing at a local nursing home and mutual prayer.

 

The theme for our March retreat 2014 was “The Joy of Repentance: Finding Victory in Defeat.” In August the theme was “Alive and Powerful: Transforming Our Relationship with the Bible.” We had a great turnout among whom were several youth from the Cornell OCF.
